Dr Ramanan is a Consultant Psychiatrist with special interest in personality disorder. He is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. He completed his medical training in India and started working in the UK in 1998.

He has over 20 years’ experience working in psychiatry in the UK, New Zealand and in Australia since 2018. Dr Ramanan is also in the process of completing advanced certificate in forensic psychiatry.

He is passionate about providing holistic, recovery oriented high-quality mental health care, collaborating with families, other specialists and service providers to achieve the best possible treatment outcomes for patients and their families.

Dr Ramanan is happy to consult patients between 18-65 yrs old. He has extensive experience working with anxiety and mood disorders, psychotic disorder, forensic mental health and dissociative disorders.

Bulk billing can be provided for Skype consultation for eligible patients.
