Townsville Private Clinic remains fully operational as a severe weather warning is given for Townsville and surrounding areas. Please travel only if it is safe to do so.

Local Disaster Management Update

The Townsville Local Disaster Management Group (TLDMG) has moved to Alert status. This means authorities are maintaining a heightened level of vigilance as they monitor the current weather system and assess any potential escalation.

We encourage our community to remain calm, stay informed through official updates and local radio, and check in on family, friends, and neighbours.

Patient Services

• Day Programs & Private Practice: Operating as normal. If you’re unable to attend due to flooding, please contact us to reschedule.
• Inpatient Admissions: Continuing as planned. GPs can still refer for fast admission. If travel is unsafe, let us know and we’ll adjust your admission time.

Visitors & Staff

• Visitors: If you can’t visit safely, our team can help arrange alternative ways to stay connected.
• Staff: The clinic is open with contingency plans in place. Please contact your manager early if your travel is affected.
