Debbie Maclean brings over 30 years of healthcare experience to her role as CEO and Director of Clinical Services at Townsville Private Clinic, part of Aurora Health. With a strong background in strategic leadership, organisational design, and service innovation, Debbie is passionate about improving access to high-quality mental health services across North Queensland.
Having worked alongside the Australian Defence Force and first responder communities for more than 13 years, Debbie brings a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by those who serve. As both a professional and the wife and mother of serving members, she is personally committed to advancing veteran mental health care and ensuring that those who protect our community receive the support they deserve.
Debbie’s leadership philosophy is built on fostering responsive, collaborative workplace cultures and empowering teams to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care. Her vision is to strengthen and expand mental health services across the region—breaking down stigma and building healthier, more connected communities in North Queensland.
